Great Expectations Pip Character Traits

The character of Pip in "Great Expectations" has many significant traits, three of which stuck out to me. The first trait brought attention to me was his unrealistic idea of romance, which is brought up constantly in the novel as he yearns for the affection of Estella. The second trait to protrude was unnaturally good conscience, which once more is constantly brought out again and again as he continues to do so called good deeds which either are for the worst of humanity or the worst for Pip. The final trait that would protrude to me whilst reading was his continuous childish behavior, this has simply gone annoying and led to me disliking Pip as a character because he would just continue to be immature and lame. The first trait that will be elaborated on is Pip's unrealistic and appalling view of romance. This is a very apparent characteristic that is repeatedly showed in the novel. As a boy he comes into contact with Estella which soon became the love of his life. He would continue to pursue her to the point of being almost creepy and untasteful. As they begin to get older Estella leaves the house with Miss.
