In this paper I will be discussing the Greek Goddess Circe. Circe is the well known goddess of magic. Circe called Aeaea home, which is an island off the coast of Italy. Circe was known for having many different and vivid hallucinations. It was said that she had them due to all the magic that she would perform during the day and she had to “pay” for the magic that she used. Examples of the magic that she performed was making the ground rumble, she moved the trees in the woods around while also making them white, she could make the sky dark by making the sun and moon hide behind the clouds in the sky, she would turn people into different animals that wronged her, and she was also known for having multiple different beasts hanging around her
