In reference to the first essay, “City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks, General Information for Griffith Park” it was notable the writer had a positive feeling towards Griffith Park. He spoke about the family attractions, cultural institutions, and nature. This essay gave me a feeling of warmth and made you want to visit a place so peaceful and tucked away from a city this is normally known to be stressful.
In contrast to the second essay, “Welcome to the Jungle” that is apparently written with a much different feeling. This writer had a much different impression of the city. His own conclusions were based on surroundings that were noisy with less than appealing food and too much traffic. It reminds me of a time I went
