In the book “1984” written by George Orwell; George Orwell writes about an unsettling daily activity called the, “Two minute Hate,” which is an example of a groupthink. On the page 18, Winston was given the thought of “Illusion of invulnerability,” a symptom of groupthink, page 18 states, “but there was a fraction of a second when their eyes met, and for as long as it took to happen Winston knew—yes, he knew!—that O’Brien was thinking the same thing as himself”.
