When to stretch has been put into three times, before, during, or after an exercise event. I have been teaching group fitness for roughly ten years, consisting of ages eighteen to fifty five and with it, time and age have shown what groups are performing stretching. My first five years all ages performed stretching prior to any physical activity, after those five years, younger groups and myself started to perform warm up exercises before any stretching occurred.
