GTB ONE-ON-ONE INTERVIEW QUESTION:

1) What will be your key target in this job if we appoint you?

Ans: If I am been considered in this job position, my key target will be to align with the goals of this position to that of achieving the overall company’s goals. For example, if you are been appointed for a customer rep, your key target is to deliver excellent customer services by ensuring that inquiries are responded to and customers enjoy a good banking relationship with GTB.

3) What are your long term goals or career plans at GTB.

Ans: My long term goals in GTB is to grow and advance in my career, develop and use my skills to the growth of the bank. I also see myself growing with the company, and also been responsible for managing a team.

4) What did you do to prepare for this job interview.

Ans: In preparing for this interview, I had to clearly understand the job description of this position, know more about my capability in doing the job, the company background and their business strategies (mission, vision and core values).

5) What are your strengths.

I have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; I am a team player, attentive to details and a resilient worker. In applying this strengths of mine to the position, I believe that I am able to carry out the duties of this position, because I have a good communication skill is ensuring that customers questions and request are been responded to without any room for miscommunication.

6) What questions do you have for me.

Ans: I will like to know more about the core values of GTB and where my position can add much value to the company, which gives me a better understanding into knotting all bolts together to work towards the goals of GTB.

7) Can you describe a time when your work was criticized.

8) What are your weakness.

Some of my weakness is that I am stubborn in regards to accomplishing my task, because the resilient spirit in me does not make me give up until am done, and am also a stratight forward person, which makes me to taken granted for.

9) How will your greatest strength help you perform.

My greatest strength which is excellent communication and interpersonal skill will help me perform because I will be able to take control of situations, either in my personal or professional lives. For example, with a customer who is not happy with the bank service, I can take control of the situation by giving her a listening ear to the situation and ensuring that the problem is resolved.

10) What are your expectations regarding promotions and salary increases.
Ans: I will want my want to be compensated and promoted based on my performance to the company’s goals. Therefore, I will like to be given my performance review frequently, so I can understand my strengths and needs for improvement. This way I know that my promotion and salary increases are based on performances.

11) Are you willing to relocate.

Yes, I will be glad to relocate, because I love changes and anything that will enhance and develop me both personally and professionally, is desired by me. Therefore, as a new employee, it creates an atmosphere to meet new people and get to know other culture and work ethics.

12) Describe the most difficult scheduling problem you have faced at work.

The most scheduling problem faced at work is having to handle a situation of customer service that was beyond my control.. Give an example here maybe in regards to your last work.
