The idea of good and evil is always held within the premise of a superhero movie. Rarely is the hero ever a criminal. You never really see the good guys as part of the evil that has corrupted the world, but Guardians of the Galaxy breaks down those typical standards.The diversity of the characters, I think, is what brings the theme to the front so clearly. Their differences bring them together at the right place at the right time, but it is their similarities that keep them together, eventually setting them up as a sort of dysfunctional team. The idea of different people coming together to fulfill one goal brings the central theme of teamwork and friendship to light.
