Gun Laws Should Be Banned Persuasive Speech

"Is everything alright?" asked Larry.
"People are so messed up," said Sal. "There have been a lot of mass shootings in the United States lately, including the ones in Orlando and Las Vegas, and it absolutely breaks my heart. People everywhere are asking people to pray for anyone affected by these acts of hatred, but prayer itself isn't enough. Gun rights should be restricted to make sure this kind of event doesn't happen again."
Not happy with what he just heard, Larry replied, "Why? Gun restriction won't help. Even if guns are made completely illegal, people will still buy them on the black market. And the right to own a gun isn't the cause of people being irresponsible. It's them. And gun laws won't stop that."

Also, a limitation on guns could reduce accidents, such as people unintentionally shooting themselves or others. With less access to firearms, suicide, in general, could be reduced."
"It really couldn't," said Larry. "Some countries with low gun ownership rates still have high suicide rates. There are other methods for people to kill themselves, you know. And what people really need to do to prevent gun accidents is learn about gun safety."
