A would-be thief was in for quite the surprise when one of the inhabitants of a house he was robbing whipped out a gun to protect their fiancee and family.
Eric Martin, 46, was sleeping peacefully with his fiancee one March morning when sounds outside of his room alerted him to an intruder in the house. Thanks to the pistol he kept by his bed, Mr. Martin was able to capture the trespasser and hold him in his front yard until the police arrived.
