Pollution is unwanted, harmful stuff contaminating an environment. The race to develop clean energy is motivated by high levels of pollution that people fear are permanently damaging the earth's environment.
There are the seven different types of pollution. These are as following:-
1. Water Pollution
2. Air Pollution
3. Soil Pollution
4. Thermal Pollution
5. Radioactive Pollution
6. Noise Pollution
7. Light Pollution
Here I’m explaining two types of pollution:-
Soil pollution: - The soil pollution is defined as the presence of materials in the soil which are harmful to the living beings when they cross their threshold concentration levels. In this case the factors or substances which affect the soil are not static. It can be positive or negative.
Thermal pollution: - Thermal pollution is the act of altering the temperature of a natural water body, which may be a river, lake or ocean environment. This condition chiefly arises from the waste heat generated by an industrial process such as certain power generation plants. The concept is most frequently discussed in the context of elevating natural water temperature, but may also be caused by the release of cooler water from the base of reservoirs into warmer rivers.
Conclusion:- In conclusion, I will say that the best way to solve problems is to understand it. Here are a few other tips on how we can help reduce soil pollution:
People should be educated and made aware about the harmful effects of soil pollution.
Reuse any items that we can. Items like
