As a child, I found great joy in helping others and just receiving a smile as my thank you. I also loved pretending to be a doctor with my siblings. From these two experiences, I believe my desire to be a doctor will continue this path of helping others. The type of doctor became clear when one day when I came back from school, I saw our neighbor sitting with my mom. She was crying because she has problems as she can't get pregnant. At that moment, I decided to be a gynecologist because I wanted to help people and try to give them hope and never give up. Also, to make them believe in themselves and to be faithful. I am very fortunate and lucky enough to have an opportunity to come to the United States and become a student at Ridgewood High School. At Ridgewood, I have been able to gain the knowledge and experiences to help me follow my dream. I spent three years in the United States, these years were challenging because of the new language, culture, and friends, but with my passion, dedication and my family support, I am happy to be here. The clubs provided many opportunities including meeting new students, learn from others, and exploring things such as cities. I became a better communicator through presentations, speeches, and conversations in these experiences. During my senior year, the International Club chose me as their President. As President, I became more adept at thinking, helping, and working which helped grow my leadership skills.
