Though much research will argue this point, there are others who may disagree. Some may think that these effects will still continue outside of the hospital and that is the reason they are illegal. This could quite possibly be true but when people hear about these long term effects from these drugs, a lot of the time it was because they used a high amount of doses to get high (“Long-Term”). When hallucinogens would be used in the hands of a doctor or nurse, they will know the exact amount of the drug to give to the patient so that problems like these would not be able to occur. This way the patients in need of the drugs will be able to get them and they will not be put in any kind of danger for the future.
