As I entered the classroom, I noticed one boy was sitting on the carpet near the entrance away from the rest of the students. As I stayed longer I gathered that the boy was in trouble for talking out of turn multiple times and therefore was under “reset” mode. This meant that the student was not allowed to interact with other students or the teacher and could not participate in any activity unless and until he stayed silent and obeyed all class rules.
