Happiness can be bought at the right price. In fact, people do crazy things for money. Being rich is everyone’s goal in life, and that can only be achieved with money. Although some may say that money doesn’t buy happiness, literature and current events show the opposite. Therefore, money can buy happiness.

First, literature shows that money does buy happiness. An example of this can be seen in the book The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, money plays a big role in the characters happiness. In this text, Gastby has grown up poor in the 1900s, and by 1920, is working his way up to impress a girl. Daisy, Daisy is a classy girl and needs a wealthy man to support her.
