Harriet Beecher Stowe and Sojourner Truth have a strong connection because of how they both lost their sons and both fought for women's rights. Harriet Beecher Stowe did a lot of things in her life; she also lost a son in 1849, that is what turned her life around and she made a big change and made a famous book named Uncle Tom’s Cabin. the novel later sold 300,000 copies in the US. That was just the first year she started making more books. One thing about her, she hated slavery so she made a change, she wanted to change the law and she helped do that even for women. fought for them to have rights to, the text states, “Let us also remember that the slaveholder and the slave are both our brethren whom the law of God commands us to love as ourselves”.
