1. Why are you interested in coaching Hart Colorguard?
I’m interested in coaching Hart Colorguard because I was in Hart Colorguard all three years, and I love colorguard.

2. What makes you qualified for this position?
I was in the Hart colorguard which gives me an idea of how the program runs. I’ve also completed five seasons of colorguard (including middle school). Along with this I have experience with teaching and mentoring kids and currently have a 4.0 GPA (you can’t get any higher in your freshman year).

3. How well can you work with kids (give examples please)?
I’m an active Girl Scout which result in a lot of volunteering. Often times that volunteering is having a group of younger girls and being told to watch them, entertain them, or teach them. For example, last summer I was a counselor for Girl Scout Coyote Hill Day Camp and was in charge of ten girls around eight years old, and assisted them in coming up with a skit by the end of the week.

How well do you work with your peers (i.e. other coaches)/Do you consider yourself cooperative?
I do consider myself cooperative, as I try to get along with everyone whenever possible. If there’s a conflict, I believe talking it through is often the best option. I always try respect everyone’s opinions.

5. Describe your ideal practice (schedule-wise)--keep in mind Hart meets Tuesdays 3:30-5 and Thursdays 3:30-5:30
I’d want to have warm up for the first 30 minutes (3:30 - 4:00) with stretches and across the floors. Then I’d move onto equipment and for the first 15 minutes (4:15 - 4:30) go over something had already learned (such as tosses and drop spins, or old show work). After, I’d go into a new skill or new show work for the rest of practice.

6. Would you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert?
I’m an introvert in most cases. However, I’m more outgoing when I’m around people that I know, or when the situation requires
