“Pharaoh Hatshepsut was the first female ruler of Ancient Egypt to reign during 1479-1458 B.C.E. Disguised as a male she would wear a false beard and a Pharaoh's crown hat. Her name means “Foremost of Noble Women” or “She is First Among Noble Woman”. (Mark) Pharaoh Hatshepsut was a great ruler, when she built temples it was meant to respect her people to worship gods. She also helps with trading and helped her people bring new ways of transportation. Therefore, this story you are going to read is about how Queen Hatshepsut was a great female ruler and proved to people that all women can effect change in society.
Hatshepsut was a very smart beautiful child. “Queen Hatshepsut was born around 1500 BC” (Bridges 6). She could be bitter and rude since the death of her brothers and sisters. But that only made her stronger. She was very polite she helped people in Africa and gave them some new things to make sure their land was better. She also made peace treaties with other lands to not have war every time. She was a trader who brought new animals to Egypt so that transportation could be easier. She was the very first Pharaoh to bring ships into Egypt! She built two temples for he and her people and that made everyone more holy and follow the law.

To conclude, Queen Hatshepsut was a great ruler but she was a loving and cheerful leader. Just like her father everyone loved her and just like us she worked her very best. Her son was very annoyed that everyone was still talking about Hatshepsut when he was ruler so he erased all the information about her so no one can know about her in the future.
