The Bravery of Hattie In the book Hattie Big Sky by Kirby Larson, I will never forget the bravery Hattie had throughout the whole book. First of all, Hattie always had bravery when she was dealing with other characters that were bothering her. For example, she stood up for her claim when Traft Martin kept telling her to sell it to him. Hattie stood tall and told him that she wouldn’t sell her land because she was grateful of her life in the prairie. In addition, Hattie had bravery when her life got difficult and wasn’t going as planned. Hattie had to figure out what to do when her crops were being ruined by a drought.
