Healthcare Reform Many people such as the Democratic Party are for the health care reform. I myself am a democrat but unlike most I am against the health care reform. This law will basically burn this government down to the ground. I know for a fact it will get taken out of our taxes or from another source but not everyone will have the money to pay for it making our government pay for it and that is making our economy even worst . Many people will lose their jobs and their current healthcare plan Therefor I believe we should abolish this law . "Keeping Insurance Coverage." "ObamaCare, Three Months of Broken Promises," John Boehner, 23 June 2010. Web. 5 Nov. 2012. . What john Boehner is basically saying is that over 87 million Americans could lose access to their current health care plan under the new law. The majority of the nation’s employers will lose their health coverage. This is basically providing more evidence that ObamaCare is basically doing the exact opposite that democrats said it would do. New Health Care Law Will Increase Costs, Reduce Benefits.
" Insurance Premium Reductions. Lisa Murkowski, JD, 18 May 2010. Web. 5 Nov. 2012. . Throughout the years president Obama has promised that he will lower the cost of healthcare, But a couple of government reports say that it will do the exact opposite. Centers of Medicare and Medicaid say that it will impose billions of dollars in annual fees .These fees will be passed down to consumers in form of higher drug and device prices raising healthcare cost from $2.1 billion in 2011 to $18.2 billion in 2018.
"Medical Bankruptcy Prevention." "Fact Sheet: The Truth About the Health Care Bill," Jane Hamsher, MFA, 19 Mar. 2010. Web. 05 Nov. 2012. . Most people with medical bankruptcies already have insurance, and out-of-pocket expenses will continue to be a burden on the middle class. To begin with, in 2009 1.5 million Americans declared bankruptcy, of those 1.5 million sixty two percent where medically related. This Health Care Bill also leaves twenty four million without insurance. Moreover, The maximum yearly out-of-pocket limit for a family will be $11,900 on top of premiums. And wait let’s not forget A family with serious medical problems that last for a few years could easily be financially crushed by medical cost.
"H.R. 3590, the 'Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act,' and the Related Budget Reconciliation Legislation, H.R. 4872, the 'Student Aid and Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2009,'" Tax Reductions. US Chamber of Commerce, 19 Mar. 2010. Web. 05 Nov. 2012. . The Senate bill would: impose job-killing mandates and penalties on businesses, increase taxes and burdens on small businesses. H.R. 4872 is no 'fix' for the Senate-passed bill. It
