Better Health Care

“America's health care system is neither healthy, caring, nor a system.” - Walter Cronkite. Does better health care for everyone create a better and stronger economy? Many people would agree that America’s health care system has failed because many times doctors refuse to treat an illness that is treatable due to lack of funds.

Furthermore, in the United States better health care for everyone would clearly make a better and stronger economy especially for those less fortunate. Many Americans are not insured who face challenges, which is now evident that there needs to be a reform. Some people are not getting the care that they need “Patients with chronic diseases such as hypertension, heart disease, and diabetes all too …show more content…
Secondly, a lot of suppliers charge more for things like durable equipment in the United States than in other countries. Lastly, those who reside in America receive more and better health care than others would in other countries.

So, what does happen when people can’t afford the care they need? Many workers are jobless. Since the costs of medical care has skyrocketed, many cannot afford it. People could sign up for medicare, which can help a lot with the costs of hospitals and certain care, often the elderly have to pay a small charge for their Medicare hospitalization.
