The health care system provides health care services to the population by means of primary care, and specialty care. Primary care is the basic routine health checkup with the preventive, diagnostic and curative measures and it distributes combined, approachable health care services by physicians who are responsible for fulfil a large preponderance of individual health care demands, creating an unceasing and perpetual relationship with patients, and give services in private and public settings. The role of primary care physicians is like gatekeeper, by adjusting cost, consumption, and the balanced distribution of health services. They also synchronize numerous duty like diagnosis, treatment, referral, consultation, monitoring and follow-up of acute and chronic cases. Primary care focus on the individual. Primary care service has great positive impact in the U.S. healthcare system because it concentrations is more toward rural areas where the populations have problem of poverty, less education, difficult access to the healthcare services because of less numbers of doctors and hospital than required. Primary care provider generally performs curative, diagnostic and prevent aspect of health care in the cost-effective way. Primary care provider promotes good health, less case of advanced disease conditions, lower death rate, decrease emergency room visit, decrease low birth weight and overall reduction in healthcare expenditure.
