J.R. is the woman I interviewed for this health history interview. The first series of questions that I asked her were based on her present health. This is the first question I asked, “J.R. how is your current health status now?” J.R. stated that she feels great and within the past months that she has gained only a couple of pounds. I then asked J.R. a series of questions pertaining to her hair, skin, and nails. She stated that she had experienced no changes in those health systems. I then asked her, “How is your vision?” J.R. replied, “I currently wear glasses and I am near sided” (J.R, personal communication, April 19, 2018).

R’s current health status, I asked questions that coincided with her daily living activities. “How is your self-esteem?” J.R. stated that it was good. “How is your current financial status?’ J.R. then stated that it was good and that she has no worries because her husband is the provider of the family

HEALTH HISTORY 4 Then I asked her, “Do you participate in any religious organizations?” She said, “Yes I do, I am Catholic and go to church once a week. “What do your daily activities consist of?” J.R. replied, “I like to run and get out of the house. I exercise at least every day for 60 minutes (J.R, personal communication, April 19, 2018). “Do you need any assistance with your activities of daily living?” J.R. stated that she does not need any help with her activities of daily living. “Do you participate in any leisure activities? J.R. responded by saying that she likes to run, read, sew, cook, and sleep. “What do your sleep patterns consist of and how many hours of sleep do you get each night?” J.R. responded by saying that her sleeping patterns are normal and that she gets 8 hours of sleep each
