I work for a Healthcare System with a transformational style of leadership as an organization and full of task-oriented leaders. As an organization, we have a vision and a mission, respect, and trust that is transmitted across the board to each member of the system. Inspirational symbols are used like the CARE campaign to communicate expectations of compassion (C), accountability (A), respect (R), and expertise (E) for every single patient from every single member. Employees are also considered at a personal level, for example, advisor service is available, stress relieve hotline for stress management, health, and wellness, emotional well-being, family and relationship, financial and legal concern services, as well as other specific programs to help employees to deal with difficult situations that can affect their motivation and productivity. In general, there is a good relationship between leaders and employees and we have open huddles every quarter with the president and vice-presidents to address any concern or share ideas. Usually, at all levels, there is recognition for a work well done and effort going beyond the expectations.
