“Hector and the Search for Happiness” film by Peter Chelsom is a wonderful movie. It demonstrates what happiness looks like and how come it is important to our lives in depth and in the entertain way. The movie demonstrates many things across movie but the three main things that being emphasized the most is love, fear, and money.

First, the “love” word is the important part in journey of “Hector and the Search for Happiness”. Because he travels around the word to searching what the happiness is to everyone and how love flows through everybody. He figures out love will make people in happiness and he realizes love cannot be missing in our life. At the first arrived to China, he met the girl names Ying Li. He felt in love with her at the first …show more content…
He realized nobody could understand him like this lady and it is not a fault to fall in love with someone else. That’s why he was easily to fall in love with her. This show love is a way lead to happiness even though it can be just one moment, love helps Hector easy his mind. This love can be in first sight but it not for long. When Hector knows full story about Ying Li he hurts and writes down “Sometimes happiness is not knowing the whole story.” This shows that the truth can easily hurt the happiness. That’s why people always keep that secret inside and they don’t want to share. The movie tries to say that lies or half-truth can help people become happier than full truth. It also shows that happiness is as vulnerable as babies easy to harm so treat happiness nicely. Besides, the love between different genders, it also loves of human to human. That shows up when Hector helps the woman on the airplane flight to Las Vegas. Having the surgery few months ago hurts the woman but because of caring of Hector she become much better. When she is have a conversation with Hector she feels happy that Hector listen to her. This helps her relieve her stress and feels comfortable. Both of these events in movie are help to demonstrate love
