Helen keller was one of the most successful blind and deaf people this world has ever had. Many looked upon her with joy and many considered her a hero. She went on in her life and helped many blind and deaf people, she was inspiration and hope to them. Helen was one of the only deaf and blind people to graduate from college. She got the opportunity to feel the face of many famous people and to communicate with them. Helen keller got awarded the presidential medal of freedom, this is one of the highest honors a civilian can achieve, this was given to her for helping and inspiring many of the deaf and blind children and adults in the U.S. She also became a very famous and well known author.

James was very jealous of Helen because she got all the attention because of her issues. He showed little to no pity to Helen, he was alway making fun of Helen's teacher and proclaiming “there is no way to teach Helen she is just an animal”. He later came to see Helens cleverness when Helen locked her teacher in the room.

Helen keller was the daughter of arthur H. Keller and Katherine Adam keller. They hired a teacher, Anne sullivan, Anne improved Helens behavior by being persistent and not spoiling her like her parents would. Anne would use sign language on Helen's hand so she could feel the letters. When Helen wanted something Anne would make her feel the object and before Helen could obtain the object she would make Helen spell the item. Anne sullivan had to be so persistent with Helen they would wrestle, chase, slap, and bite each other while Anne was trying to teach. In one lesson Helen was use to helping herself from everyone's plate and eating with her hands, Anne requested some time alone with Helen and locked the doors.
