After her 30th birthday, Henrietta was then readmitted back to John Hopkins, but this time with the mindset of wanting to stay. However, none of her family could of guess that this would’ve been her last visit. By the time the next month came around, Henrietta body was mostly taken over by her tumors; her intestine was blocked and she looked like she was a six month pregnant. although she was constantly being giving blood by her cousin to help with transfusion, however, all of these had eventually stopped because her body became too toxic.
