In this essay there are two leaders that are still known today in our society. These leaders are Mahatma Gandhi, and Henry David Thoreau. According to prior knowledge, these leaders are the effects of change in history over time. Both leaders did have a responsibility to do their own role as a leader. These men both have some of the most influential works of literature that have a strong focus on protest. Thoreau and Gandhi were both standing up to their government, were both against violence and did not want anyone to be hurt by their actions, and both wanted their opinions to come out into the open and be known by everyone around
Mohandas Gandhi and Henry David Thoreau are two similar people in history. They are both large advocates of nonviolence.
