Hidden Prejudices & Biases The hidden prejudices and personal biases affect our beliefs. Same happens with me. While living in America, I find that the black Africans are facing discrimination issues. This discrimination is well spread in all the states of America. This hidden bias creates a feeling of insecurity in me and changed my beliefs that the black are not equal to other human beings. These beliefs remain with me through the certain period of time. I don’t like the black community and I usually behave with them in a bad way. But, then I change my perception after observing them (Pawlikowski, Wiechetek, Sak, & Jarosz, 2015). I find that they are good human beings like us. They don’t create problems in others lives. They are innocent …show more content…
The heart is linked with the human emotions and feelings. I will think the evening parties are good because they give me happiness and pleasure. On the other hand, the head states the logical answers of every simple situation. The God gives us the ability to logically judge what is right and what is wrong. Considering the above situation, the evening parties are not good as they waste time, which can spend well on studying for the upcoming exams and for helping your mother in doing home tasks. The world in which we are living today is filled with many false beliefs and personal prejudice. The religion, racial, sex and country differences are creating problems for human beings. There are some personal beliefs in our personalities which re rooted because of the bad experience in the past. They limit our opinion and stop the path of moving onwards. In my personal life, I also have some hidden prejudice and false beliefs. They change my perception about the things. I feel good to help others and on the other hand, I don’t like those teachers who can’t help in getting good grades.I like to enjoy my evenings, but at the end whenever I get bad grades, I usually blame on teachers. In all the situations of making decisions, our head finds the logic. On the other hand our heart wants the happiness of our soul. In the battle of head and heart, usually wins the one which is under our control. I should live my life in control way in which I have to control my emotions and decision-making process. Excluding all of the above concepts, I have to consider all the human beings equal. I should support the concepts of collective benefits of all the people than the personal benefits.
