Does this video change the way you look at the world – what about consumerism?
This video enhanced my way of thinking when I look at the world and consumerism today. I have thought about how we are destroying ourselves and our environment for a long time. I never looked at it being such a greedy process with the end results.

I can say that I was in shock to know he said that. Hidden Worldviews states in comparison to the video, “Consumerism tells us that the holes in our lives will be filled if we just have more” (Wilkens & Sanford, 2009, p.54). I read further in my Bible, “only people who don’t know God are always worrying about such things. Your Father in heaven knows that you need all these. But more than anything else, put God’s work first and do what he wants” (Matthew 6: 32, 33 Contemporary English Version). These are both true people are too materialist today.
How will you change/not change?
I cannot deny that when I was younger I wanted all the clothes and material things everyone else had and was always told you can’t take it with you when you pass. As I have getting older it does not matter as much now. I realize that my need for God’s love and my health are important. One thing I will change in my life is not to worry about having enough money for every Sunday Mass. I admit I have not gone sometimes before because of this, that will change
