You miss being the big dogs on campus don’t you? In middle school you thought you were so cool because you were older, but in the high school you’re a freshman. The transition from middle school to high school can be tough and difficult or for some people can be an, “emotional experience,” but if you follow these simple rules you’ll do fine, keep an eye on your grades (because there is no handholding by the teachers anymore), try new things, and don’t wear spirit wear while doing something outrageous in public. First and most importantly, do your homework. If you don’t do your homework, you will fail the class and you won’t pass. If you’re scared your first time it’s because it takes time to break your shell. After a while see why it is good for you to meet new people, and helps with trying to find a job. The reason it is important is because so you don’t seem scared and unconfident while trying to get hired. It is important to be confident and straightforward. Last of all, don’t wear school spirit wear while doing outrageous things in public. One, it makes you and your school look bad. Secondly, you will get in trouble with the place, at school, and at home. If you are possibly in sports you may also get kicked out of any after school activities. That outrageous act may even be put on your permanent record, possibly making it difficult to find a job or college, whichever you prefer. Thanks to the advice from this you now know a little bit of what to do, as trying to survive the high school life. If you follow these steps throughout your high school career you with show signs of a good student and should have a good four years. If you keep an eye on your grades, try new things, and don’t wear spirit wear while doing something outrageous in public, you should do fine, although there is a lot more advice, those are the major ones.
