High school sports can have negative effects on on students in various ways. High school sports cause major injuries to students, harming their education. High school sports also take a great deal of funding, taking money away from teachers and other programs. Although not everyone thinks this way, some people say high school sports help decrease obesity and help students stay fit. However with injuries and better funding for more important parts of a school, it would be better to cut down on sport fundings or access better equipment without huge amounts of funding for them. Most high school sports can cause major injuries to students harming their education and their bodies. Every week students from all over the country are injured in a sport, often because proper equipment is not in use. High school sports can cause major injuries to students affecting their bodies and education. High school sports also use huge amount of funding, making it harder to find good teachers and keep clubs open. All things considered, many people disagree with these statements and claim sports are a great way to cut down on our nation's obesity epidemic. Furthermore, there are many other tremendous, affordable athletics that cause less injury and reduce funding. Overall high school sports can and will cause harm to students while reducing the funding of the school
