The American people are being lied to. The source of this deceit is not the candidate Hillary Clinton, but a twisted political system and sensationalism in the media. Despite common misconceptions, Secretary Hillary Clinton is the most honest politician on the 2016 presidential campaign trail. According to Politifact, a website which checks not only the accuracy but also the details and context of statements made by presidential candidates on the road to the presidency, 70% of the statements made by the republican party candidate, Donald Trump, are not only deceptive, but ignorant bald-faced lies. While many voters believe Hillary Clinton’s persona is prickly and cold this does not diminish her impressive credentials which make her more than eligible to hold office. Furthermore, the media, in search of a good story, is projecting and escalating the trivial matters of Clinton’s life. Over sixteen million American will get the flu this year alone. Hillary Clinton accounts for one person in this statistic. In spite of her illness, Hillary remained dedicated to her work and continued to serve her position to the best of her ability. Another common criticism that surrounds Hillary Clinton is the email scandal. Despite republican ignorance, there is no law against using a personal server for correspondence.
