Religion a word that has lead to countless wars and blood shed throughout human history. Religion means a particular system of faith and worship. Religion was created to provide explanations as to why we are here and where did we come from. Then it spiraled out of control when people started to add supreme beings and different ways of honoring sed beings, disagreement as to who had it right caused suffering around the world. Buddhism grew out of Hinduism which explains the great similarities and little difference between these two religions.
Buddhism and Hinduism have a lot of similarities because Buddhism actually grew out of Hinduism. Buddhism and Hinduism started in the same place, India and expanded to neighboring countries. In both Buddhism and Hinduism they believe in reincarnation. Reincarnation is the belief in the rebirth of a soul in a new body until you reach Nirvana which is oneness with the universe. Both religions are base on performance of good deeds in hopes getting a reward which is known as karma, but also set moral standards. Hinduism and Buddhism are still practiced today and are world renounced.

Hindu’s are technically monotheistic but believe in many variations of that one God.
