The movie Holiday Inn is a movie that takes us on a journey through all of the holidays we celebrate in America from the white perspective. This movie has a plethora of racist undertones and they are expressed in many ways. The main characters are trying to win over the leading ladies' hearts by either singing or dancing. The very first song White Christmas to me sounds racial. after listening to the song multiple times it seems as though Berlin wrote about a Christmas only white Americans could relate to. The song has subliminal messages telling people to "dream of a white Christmas" and "may all of your Christmases be white".
