Throughout the whole research process, many aspects of what I was searching for emerged. I learned about my GRQ that Anti-Semitism is actually growing in present-day, which was something I was unaware of. Furthermore, social media has played a huge role in the mistreatment of Jews as some make harsh comments online about the Jewish population or the Holocaust. Others don’t even believe that the Holocaust actually happened, showing how much our education systems need to improve in relation to teaching about the genocide. Finally, I discovered that society did not learn its lesson from the Holocaust, which is an opinion formulated by those who experienced the genocide. Also, I changed a crucial term from my question so it could become more connected to my overall research. I changed the word “view” into “treatment” because it was very difficult to find evidence on what someone thinks about a Jew rather than how they mistreat them. For my overall chosen topic, I became aware that some people have very distinguished opinions about Anti-Semitism. Although some think it is an issue that needs action, others believe it will never be able to be solved. From these controversial statements, I was able to decide for myself which side would explain most effectively the Holocaust’s impact on the treatment of the Jewish population. Furthermore, some things I discovered about myself while completing this research was that I am huge procrastinator. It made me realize how much I would put off working on the assignment, usually until the night before it was due, which was not the best method to do it. But, I did learn that I actually enjoyed some of the research aspects of the project. It was interesting to me to find research for my GRQ, and even discover things about the Holocaust and Jewish mistreatment that I had never known before. Although I detested having to create things like the annotated bibliography, this whole research project gave me many tools that I will now be able to utilize in my future of
