yes students could benefit mentally from exercise. physical activity helps your body become fit which can boost your self confidence image wise and it can help relieve stress, anger, or just clear your head. when you have confidence in yourself others are more likely to have confidence in you, making it easier to try new things and relieve mental pressure from the insecurities you surround yourself with if that's the case.

Could Students Benefit Mentally from Exercise?

Is exercise the best drug for depression? Exercise is a form of physical stress. Can physical stress relieve mental stress? Alexander Pope, noted 18th century English Poet thought so:
"Strength of mind is exercise, not rest."
Plato, a famous scholar agreed:
"Exercise would cure a guilty conscience."
Looking for more of an incentive to shed those unwanted pounds? Research suggests that exercise is not only good for the body, but helps fight depression, too.
Santa Fe student Logan Radford has lots of experience with exercise and the effects it has on your mental health. “Students could benefit mentally from exercise.
