Honor Society Reflection

I’m very surprised that I got invited to apply to the National Honor Society. I didn’t join the National Honor Society before. However, I have heard a lot about it from my family and my friend. In my perspective, I’m confident that I’m the one that can be the member of the National Honor Society. I’m a careful, curious and confident person. These personalities do not only help me perfect myself , but they also help me to be the top students in this school. Furthermore, the personalities do not only show in education, but they also show in extracurricular activities and leadership.

For my education, I’m different from other top students. Most of the top students would like to take a lot of AP/IB classes to increase their GPA. Some of their AP/IB classes satisfied their majors, but almost the high-level class they took did not. They took those classes because they heard those classes were easy A ,or they just want to increase their GPA. Instead of taking abundant AP/IB classes, I carefully chose which classes were challenged and what classes satisfied my college major. I only took 3 AP classes in my Sophomore and Junior year, but all 3

However, I had ,sometimes, led the team to finish final projects in couple classes. In the junior year, I led my English’s class group. Although my team had a struggle with communication, which was some member of the group that can not contact them, I was the bridge that tried to contact everyone and made a backup plan in case my team didn’t finish on time. However, we got an A on that final project. In the other hand, when I still lived in Vietnam, I used to be my class’s vice president in 9th grade. I helped class create activities for school’s event and control about class’s discipline. Because of my leadership, my class got a lot of awards and became the best class in the
