The definition of the other was something that was different or a person who acted differently as the other in the same group. Most of the horror movies had villains who wanted to start a conflict with the main characters. For all protagonists in the films, the villains were the other because they were abnormal. For example, in the movie Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974), Sally and her companions picked up a hitchhiker during they went to Sally’s grandfather’s house. They were afraid to the hitchhiker when they saw the hitchhiker cut his wrist. They kicked the hitchhiker out of their car and tried to leave away from the hitchhiker.
