After graduation from GIHE, I would like to return to Indonesia and work at an international hotel chain, such as at Four Seasons or Shangri-La. I believe that as a graduate of GIHE, I will be well equipped with the qualifications required to gain an upper management position at my target hotel. Gaining experience will be a very important aspect to be a successful hotelier. By working at my home country, l could get a better understanding of the local market structures and customers expectations. In the next five years after graduation, I expect to move up the ladder and become the General Manager of the hotel that I am going to work for.

My long-term goal is to build a luxury hotel chain in Indonesia that reflects Indonesians' identities and cultures. Indonesia offers a unique blend of traditional cultures, delicious cuisines, and exotic nature. The hospitality industry in Indonesia is thriving, with six millions foreign tourists per year on average. Besides, there is an increasing demand for short term lodging from domestic business travelers. So far, international hotel chains have been dominating the hotel industry in Indonesia. Indeed, there is no single local hotel chain that provides the service standard of a 5-star hotel and offers authentic Indonesian experience.
