You know me as Mona El-Tannir, I am a hospitality student at the Central Piedmont Community College. I would like to talk to you today about a career in Hospitality management.

Therefore I started working on that dream and enrolled in this hospitality program in the CPCC. After graduation I plan to finish my studies at a prestigious university and graduate with bachelors in hospitality management. I am currently working part time at a convenience store to make some extra money but more importantly to add to my costumer service experience.
After graduation I plan to start my trip down my career path working at the food and beverage department as server/waiter at one of the restaurants of a logging hotel or a cruise if my personal status permits. Threw this position I would gain the professional experience with customer care and a good knowledge of the food and beverage aspect of the hospitality industry and develop a set of contacts and a good reference base to move to sales in a catering company. From there on the exposure with the people that I would be dealing with from event planners to customers would give me the chance to introduce myself to the market and to show my vision of event planning. If all goes well I would be looking at becoming a special events planner in the next 7-8 years.
