How 9/11 Changed America

America had faced many issues concerning terrorist. Some examples are 9/11, the assassination of John F. Kennedy, and the bombing in the Boston marathon to just name a few. But, it seems like every month or every two week we see on the news of someone getting injured or killed. It is very terrible because America wasn’t like this. In“The Price we Pay” talks about September 11, and it explains in a very descriptive was about what happened through the eyes of our author Adam Mayblum. I also found three articles that addresses the issues of America being a target for terrorists. My goal in this essay is to give facts and statements of what happened after the attack of the twin towers. This event honestly changed america in many different aspects. As much we wouldn’t like it to be sadly it is true. I was reading a article about terrorism risk for international travellers. Now in days travelling has become a much more popular thing and now people internationally come more often to America. No one wants to go to America thinking that something will happen to them on the trip like stated in the article, “Travel, especially for leisure purposes, should be a pleasurable experience” (Seabra 875). “When negative elements enter in the equation, the experience changes, pleasure is replaced by apprehension and anxiety” (875). No one would like to be traveling without pleasure, because then there is no enjoyment. Terrorists are the main cause of this problem, because now people are afraid to leave their homes and into another country like America. I say America because it’s the country that is mostly pointed and threatened too. 9/11 horrific tragedy that happened fifteen years ago, and some people still have images in there head of this incident.
