In my everyday life, I speak English. The only other language that I know is Spanish, and I don’t know it very well. I also know a tiny bit of Croatian. At this point in my education I am better at understanding Spanish than I am at speaking it. I have several friends that speak Spanish, and will speak with them in Spanish when I can. I try to get them to drill me often, so that I don’t lose what I have already learned. In my prior experience, I have found that learning other languages, like many other skills, can easily degrade if not practiced regularly.
