No one really believes in secret societies because that is what society has taught us. If you think about it, even talking about secret societies is somewhat frowned upon. Society has shaped us into this way of thinking. The thought of a secret society, filled with selected members, who controls the world and shape the decisions we make, just sounds preposterous. This man being Adam Waishaupt. Adam Waishaupt was a Jesuit student. He was taught and learned roman catholic values and those pertaining to God. He then became a free thinker, like his grandfather; questioning the beliefs he was taught and seen things through a different perspective. This vision he had was against everything he learned and was taught. As you can imagine, he had received little to no support. So, he sought after the free masonry for help in aid of manifesting his vision.
