The topic of this essay could be very controversial. No matter how you look at the topic, it could go any way. There are a lot of arguments that could be made about the way you choose to back. The only way I could answer it is with my thoughts. I believe that Arthur Miller would let Syrian Refugees into the country. It would be a crazy move to let the refugees in, but it could pay off in a lot of different ways. Arthur Miller is most likely to let refuges in the United States because they have been falsely accused like he was. Most refugees are accused of being terrorist even though they may be trying to stop it. Arthur Miller was put on the Hollywood blacklist for something for something he didn't even do. He read 300 year old documents that came from the Witch Trials.The script that had people in it with the names of Abigail Williams, John Proctor, and Samuel Parris. Once he read this he knew in his gut that he wanted to write this story. “Both made offer to strike at said Proctor; but when Abigail’s hand came near, it opened, whereas it was made up, into a fist before, and came down exceeding lightly as it drew near to said Proctor, and at length, with open and extended fingers, touched Proctor’s hood very lightly. Immediately Abigail cried out her fingers, her fingers, her fingers burned…”(pg.3). Thankfully this reading is the main reason Arthur Miller was able to write the play. Being accused of communism and almost losing his job Arthur Miller wrote one of the best plays of all time. He was a free man because his hard dealings in court and capability to outthink the judge. However he was not a well liked man he knew how to prove people wrong. When Miller’s play was released people were concerned that it linked with his accusations in court. Even though he went through so man rough times with this play he got the popularity he
