Through the eyes of Scout Finch, the book shows that her father Atticus Finch strives to prove innocent of a hopeless African American man, Tom Robinson. He is accused of rape and with the racism of the town he is found guilty and killed. The novel also shows later Boo Radley a mysterious neighbor who saves Scout and her brother Jem's life. After Scout and Jem find out that Mr.Radley or Nathan Radley had been the one who filled the hole with cement. And realize that Boo is the one who is putting all the gifts in the tree. They find out that Boo Radley never did the things they think he did, and is not the person they think Boo was. Scout saw “He had been crying” (Lee 84). Scout realizing that Boo had done nothing wrong and is bing made fun of for things that are false. Boo is corrupted by the town and people by their actions and thoughts towards him. A event where Boo is a mockingbird in the novel is when Boo Radley saves Jem and, Scout life by killing Bob Ewell. Scout realizes this when she says “Hey Boo” ( Lee 362). She knows Boo protected her and her brother. And notices that Boo is a good person. Scout Finch, Boo Radley, and Tom Robinson are all good people and never did nothing wrong, the town estranged her innocence, and was not scrupulous and did not have sensory they just “ don't do one thing except make music for us to enjoy” (Lee 122).
