Did Brutus make the right decision to betray his best friend Julius Caesar? In my opinion, he made a mistake joining his friend Cassius, another dear “friend” of Caesar’s and the conspirators that were in the plan to murder Julius Caesar. May it have been Brutus that was too ambitious and not Caesar? If Brutus was a true friend of Caesar and an honorable Roman wouldn’t he have known Caesar would do the best he could to make Rome great again for the citizens?

Caesar denied the crown the three times he was offered it, and Brutus calls this too “ambitious”? Yes, Caesar had a strong desire to succeed but it wasn’t for selfishness, it was for Rome and its citizens. Was it necessary for Brutus to murder his best friend? No, with this horrible action
