Final Paper The impact Cesar Chavez had on migrant workers in Agriculture made a huge impact on our population and survival today. Without his relentless life efforts there would still be a lot of corruption in farm workers today that are desperately needed for the production of Agriculture and benefit of our population. Similar to many migrant workers and Chicanos of this time period Cesar Chavez was born into Farm labor. On March 31st, 1927 Chavez was born near Yuma, Arizona. It wasn’t long after his family was seasonally moving from field to field working on farms wherever the work needed done. Later, World War II was underway and Chavez, ready to escape the horrible work conditions and poor wages joined the Navy. He returned from war and found love in his wife: Helen Fabela eventually having eight children. It was in 1952 when his destiny seemed to be brought to life when he met the founder of the Community Service Organizations founder Fred Ross. He began to work with Ross and the CSO eventually leading him to create his own organization called the National Farm Workers Association (NFWA) where he specifically tried to help the conditions of migrant farm workers.
