You hear a knock on the door, you hear the words pour out of the visitor's mouth. “The British have won the 7 years war.” Suddenly, your life has changed. The British have now taken over and you must live by their rules. You feel as if your freedom has vanished. Until, the mighty, brave, Chief Pontiac rebels. Chief Pontiac’s rebellion played a very important and vital role in the creation of North America. This loyal, man fights for freedom, he seeks for making a significant impact on the creation of North America. This heroic man led the attack on Fort Michilimackinac. He brought together an alliance and led the First Nations to fight the British.

After the British won the 7 years war, the First Nations got furious because most of their land was taken away by the British. The courageous Chief Pontiac made allies of the First Nations and decided to attack the British forts to get their land back. The first attack was held at Fort Michilimackinac. Fort Michilimackinac created a great alliance between First Nation groups. The attack on Fort Michilimackinac also, made the British realize they must make peace so all they’ve achieved during the 7 years war wouldn’t decay away. Expanding on that, the First Nations successfully took 8 British forts which and the British distressed about the First Nations taking all of their new lands.
