How Did Fahrenheit 451 Burn The Books In The Future

In the future instead of fireman putting out fires they start the fires. Fahrenheit 451 tells a story of a man, Montag, who is a fireman but as a fireman books get burnt instead of putting out fires. One day Montag, while burning books, sees the title of of a book which catches his eye. He picks it up even though it is illegal to have books. Montag starts collecting books and hides them in his house. He ends up with 20 books and decides he should read the books to see what is so bad about them. He asks his wife to help him read them which ends up to be a bad idea. Why did the firemen burn the books in the future? The fireman burns them because knowledge is power so the government chose without books the people could not rebel against them and they were also given drugs so they were happy. By doing this the government pretty much could do whatever they want with the people and they would be fine with it. Montag did this for a while then he decides that he would take a book home and see what is so bad about them. He kept doing this for a while and he stole 20 books he thought that he should start reading them to see what was so bad about them. Montag thought his wife Mildred could help him read those books he took she was against the idea to read them because it was against the law. After Montag and Mildred fought she told the fireman on him so while he was at work one day the alarm rang and the fireman went out to burn the books so drove there it was montags house that had books
