How Did Hamlet Decide To Convince His Father's Death

Hamlet tries to convince her that she is the reason that he is mad instead of his father’s death. He is also angry at her and says that he does not want to marry her because she lies, for example about the cards that he sent her. Hamlet is treating Ophelia this way because he does not want her to get in the way of his plan to kill his Uncle. Ophelia already starts to lie to him by saying that her father is at home, and Hamlet does not want her to try to spy on him too. I would not have the actor hint at his real feelings because this would hurt Ophelia even more. Hamlet will die in the end and this would cause more heartbreak to her than if he has gone mad and ended their relationship.
